Sure it isn't a stock Modena with a bit of Challenge flair added to it (referring to the rhd and road registration) ? Regardless, I like it!
Edit: Just saw the interior shot of this car. Pretty sure that this was NEVER a Challenge car in its life. Michael
I believe 360CH had VINs, but either missing a digit, or with a digit indicating "race car only". 430CHs had no VIN. Regardless, this car was never a *real* Challenge car - a bit of false advertising if you ask me. The 360CH came with F1 gbx, no handbrake, no dashboard switchgear, digital dash guages, and more.... Not sure how they justify advertising as "full challenge spec". This is a gussied up street car - bet on it. Caveat emptor. gp
I add myself to the list of sceptics. Don't think the CH was delivered with manual 'box. Interior doesn't match CH spec, wrong material, radio, dash etc. fake fake fake, just a converted 360 road legal.
NOT a 360 Challenge. List of differences - wrong muffler, dash, instrument cluster, center console, rear deck window, exhaust, rotors, no Setrab oil cooler, and 6 speed transmission. But it incorrectly has keys and alarm to start it, radio, and parking brake.
My challenge car had a full VIN #as if it were a street car. Even came with a set of door keys and a warranty card (LOL). Vin # is posted somewhere here on Fchat.
Yes this is correct is a modena with a roll cage and race seats in it.. nothing more.. 360C have vin numbers there is a different letter which assigns it being a challenge and not road registered..
Well regardless of the phony advertising it looks pretty good. The buyer will be able to fool 99% of the people he talks to.
This is a 360 Challenge VIN. It's found under the RHS seat (passenger side in a 360 Ch) Image Unavailable, Please Login
So they have VINs and are sold on a bill of sale, not the transfer of a title. The last Challenge car to be sold with a title was a 1995 355.
It is so easy. It has a normal fueltanklid on the place like the road cars. And it should be, like on the photo's. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
