I know this subject has been subject to much debate but Ive searched the forums and cannot seem to find a post which identifies what parts need lubricating. I know many discussions talk about replacing the the 'shock pin' for a 430 teflon coated one but cant seem to locate any reference to where the shock pin is located. In addition people have talked about lubricating all the suspension parts but could someone identify in particular the shock pin and which parts need lubricating:

    Many thanks

Dave...i was told by mechanic that the teflon pin is only a temp. fix!!

the sound will come back and the only way to fix it is to completely go thru a re-torquing procedure on all suspension bolts.

He says this will cure clicking/knocking sound for about a year + depending on how much you drive..

    good luck.

The service manual calls for a Moly based grease on the thicker part of the bolt head right behind the hex head. This is what I have used, and it helps quiet the suspension. I would also recommend re-lubing the front stabilizer bar bushings with the same Moly grease to prevent creaking over bumps. One problem with the Stradale is the fact that you will be able to hear more suspension noises than will be heard on a regular 360, since there is a lot less insulation in the Stradale.

Thanks for the reply. Go to get used to reading the manual to answer these type of questions. People on this forum are so helpful that it's easy to get lazy.
