Hey doods, dont know if this is old news or not, but i just went to drive.com for a browse which i do every now and then, and saw a 360CS for $485K aus with only 155k's on it. it was located here http://www.drive.com.au/used_cars/ferrari/360/sydney/detail.aspx?id=2179823&pg=1&pp=9&d=0&nv=1 what do you guys reckon of this? is this the price it would attract (i dont doubt that it will), anybody know this car. I personally just dont get these dudes who buy a car and never drive it (unless theyre doing it as a business to make money i guess), ive had my lotus all of 8 weeks and racked up over 2000k's on it
I got a phone call a couple of nights ago from them asking if I was interested. Great car, over priced
they brought it in from malaysia , it has not come with an australian compliance plate , it has come with an import compliance plate I think. can be registered in australia and comes with 2 years warranty which will be covered in australia by ferrari I think . 485k isn't too bad as it comes with leather race seats and dash. car is new and going rate for one spec'd like that would be 520K ? I think. don't ask me how i know info ....... I think rock on
way over the odds for this car especiallly seeing it is an import. Believe me Ferrari oz will not want to know it warranty wise.
So is this number 13 in the country, or was that yours scud (making this the 14th) ? Anyone know if any 360CS's reside in good old WA?
The last Aussie delivery car was offered to me at that price. They are kidding themselves if they think an import is going to get that money.
i though adelaide had the last one? Car would not have been built to Australian Compliance. they are certainly not advertising balance of new car warranty. "Grey" market cars are viewed very dimly by just about every importer. would love to hear of anyone getting a warranty honoured with a grey car.
so long as it's not resale red if the car's grey what colour stripe would you put on it ?? if the car's not built to Oz compliance how do they get it into the country and registered ? Is there a loophole I need to expoit ?
The car was in Sydney at the time, it was around the time they started offering deep discounts on 360 spiders. Didn't buy because I wasn't interested at the time.
Ferrari covered everything on my F40 under warranty. I think about $30k was spent, in fact. Doesn't come much more grey than that!
do you mean Maranello Motorsport? they have two, one i think is 360C's N-GT that raced in clipsal and stuff, and the other i don't know stuff about. both asking $540k.
As far as I know there are FOUR 360 GT's in Australia, and they are all in Melbourne. The cars at Maranello Motorsports are the Veloqx car (for sale), and an ex-Risi car (sold but stored there). My car (ex-Veloqx) is elsewhere and there is also an ex-Risi car that lives with the owner (racing this weekend). No 360GT at Galleria to the best of my knowledge and it's certainly not on their website.
Here's the GT @ Galleria Veloce (sorry about the quality it was taken from my mobile) Image Unavailable, Please Login
