Found a few 360CS - all have mods, from Tubi's to roll cages. At what point do these mods 'hurt' the collectibility of THIS car? Sure some mods are easily able to return to stock, BUT at a large price sometimes. LMK thoughts.

oem is God. CS shldnt have aftermarket parts - it was perfect how it left the factory

btw the roll cages usually indicate a non usa car - I think the middle east cars had roll cages

Half cages were an option, full cage means it was done aftermarket and that'll be virtually impossible to return it back to original.

A non modified CS is king. It's perfect from the factory.

Roll bars were not a US option.

Some cars have sourced factory bars or made them. However, at the end of the day it will be about originality, originality, originality.

I bought a highly optioned 360 (not a Challenge Stradale) with a OEM half cage, 4 point Ferrari Harnesses, Carbon seats, etc...It was imported into the USA from German back in 2000 and is rare fully documented, legal Ferrari Import.

I've never seen another car in the USA with the OEM half cage as this was NOT a USA Ferrari option and believe Ferrari stopped allowing import cars into the USA in the early 2000's.

After that it becomes a grey market car which mine is not as DOT, EPA, and Ferrari only legally allowed this for a short time.

No USA Challenge Stradale should have 4 point Ferrari Harnesses or Aluminum Half Roll Cage. Only cars in the USA would be imported cars which was a very rare situation to come across let alone a legal import.

Simple Answer. Anything that cannot be easily put back to stock.

All those whom say it was 'perfect' from factory, perhaps cosmetically it was hard to fault but one need to try a CS with Sport Cats fitted. Wow, it is a "Transformational" difference, particularly torque, with as much as +30ft pounds added, on stock mapping after a battery reset. Also they are easy and quick to bolt on/off, and allowing you to keep the original cats for future.

^This and maybe swapping the brakes to steel to also keep the CCB for future is the only changes I am considering. Thanks for all your posts regarding cats and CCB brake info in the past.

Too many holes and welds. Half cages could be bought separately and someone could install an OEM one anytime. If the car has a full roll cage then that is an aftermarket product.

Who's planning on rolling their Stradale?

Here is one I, and others, are looking at. Aftermarket harness, cage, and fire extinguisher. Paint is 10-17m! Thoughts?

That is an aftermarket harness bar. I'd value you it as nothing extra, nothing minus as long as it doesn't have holes drilled.

To add a aftermarket bar or OEM bar the RIGHT way, you actually have to weld on some additional pieces so don't let them fool you. Even the OEM bar to a non factory option car, it requires welding and thats why no one bothers to add them.

On the other hand that CS looks great!

... I guess my car will never be a collectible :( since it sports a custom paint job, partial roll cage and harness (anchors welded), racing headers and sports cats, centerlock wheels with 430 challenge rims on Pirelli trofeo, rolled fenders, fading CF in engine area and fading alcantara dash, non original fire extinguisher, almost 45K miles, driven on the track repeatedly , non original battery, non functioning alarm siren, worn "R" button, chips on the CF door cards...the list goes on, I think I need anti-depressants or maybe I'll just go out for drive in my CS and forget about all the miseries that comes with having enjoyed my car too much LOL!!
