I was just wondering exactly how many 360s were made? I remember reading somewhere that there were over 20,000 built. This seemed unusually high, so I want to get the info from people in the know.

They are called Mc 360s for a reason, including Stradales close to 18000+.

Its well worth pointing out the sheer number of improvements over the model years. The number of parts quietly revised over model years on Ferrari's is quite frightening... and some not so quietly like the engine cam belt tensioners :). Even things like retaining moisture in the front trunk fixed by .. upgrading to 2000 spec part. Nice, suppose it makes each car unique. By the time they get to the 15000, they must surely be making them out of v0.1 beta and onto at least v1.0 stable, god know's how many 360's running around out there without their critical service packs :)

Well, if Cavallino journal has any weight in saying:
    1999-04 360 Modena & F1 - accepted number of 8800 manufactured
CS is listed seperately, with a total # of 378
It seems that "accepted #" is indeed a worldwide number, as it states 400 Enzo's were made (everyone seems to agree on that one).

Cavallino is incorrect. There were approx 11,200+ 355s produced (all Models).Does anyone Doubt that there are NUMEROUS more 360s ???

    348<355<360<430 etc.

Using the term Modena means it does not include Spider. 2 different cars.

the 360 began production in 1999 with over 4000 units a year for this model, ended in 2005, easily 18000+ cars, the highest number of any single Ferrari ever built, it took Ferrari 25+ years beginning in 1949 to make anywhere close to the total number of cars they made in the 360s 5 year run.

The numbers I had posted were released directly by Ferrari.

I would have to believe they are in the best position (if any one is) to know exactly how many cars they built!

Speculation does not cut it here.
