I have a friend that has a 360 spider, he purchased in Germany and now has it in the States. He has told me that the American dealers will not work on it? He is also claimed tha the value is less than an American version. Any thoughts?

    Yes, I have two thoughts...

First, certainly, forget about warranty work..it wont happen on this side of the pond..(FNA will not recompensate them for it).Even if after warranty, some dealers are reluctant to service European cars, especially ones which were originally sold in NA.This would vary depending on what kind of relationship you have with your dealer as well. Not the end of the world though...other mechanics fix/specialize in Fcars...just enquire around as to the best locally.

Second thought, your friend is correct. These cars do sell for substaintially less then their NA equivelants, because of reasons like thought one above....pay less now, get less later.....makes sense ,no?

most of the dealers i know will work on a euro ferrari, why would they turn away business????? the car is not covered under the fna warranty..you pay out of pocket...also, the car is worth less than the us version...10-20k less....
