Any ideas on where to look for cause of interior exhaust smell? Already checked entire exhaust system for leaks.

Usually the most common culprit on most cars is the trunk lid seal. And just replacing it with new doesn't necessarily do enough to help, especially on cars with questionable O.E. panel fitting characteristics, like vintage Ferraris. It should also be checked that it seals properly and often requires body work "adjustments/fitting" to work as intended.

In addition to the trunk seal see if the inner shifter boot seal is missing or torn without which a lot of stink can migrate into the interior. Also in a darkened garrage put a bright tight under the hood and look for light leakages under the dash same under body while looking in front and rear of interior looking for any leaks

I had this problem for a while. After a lot of troubleshooting efforts, we replaced the trunk lid seal and the smell went away. Plus, stuff placed in the trunk smelled a lot better as well!
