I am looking for some examples of engine stampings and numero interno's on 365 GT 2+2's.

Can anyone help with a few examples?

Here's a Mike Sheehan/FJ pic of the chassis number and numero interno A442 of 365 GT 2+2 #11805GT, tipo 245 engine. I have read that the numero interno is usually located near the chassis number on the earlier cars. I have also read that this is the case for early Daytonas but was then changed to having the engine tipo close by the numero interno. Hopefully Dyke (DWR46) will chime in.

Your information is correct for Daytona engine type 251 that have "B" internal numbers

Type 245 motors have chassis numbers stamped on pad . "A" internal numbers
