I'm begining restoration on my old Queen, which was originally Rosso Corsa, but I want to change the color as the original paint looks awful and washed out. It also has tan leather, with some panels having being replaced and not really matching the original hides.

I am leaning toward TDF Blue with light grey leather interior. It will be out of the body shop in about 3 weeks with all the body panels fitting better than ever.

Any comment/opinions on the color choices?

Absolutely. A light grey interior with a dark color is a great combination.

Any of the silver or blues look good on this car. Black is nice too, but you've got to live with it, so paint it the color you want.

I agree w/ going dark and/or metallic. I love my car in black/tan but definitely a bear to keep clean. The metallic/light blue color looks good, but there seem to be a lot of those examples. Going w/ a dark metallic gives you two things - the dark color tends to minimize the mass of the car - and the metallic highlights certain creases in the body work that otherwise get lost with a solid color.

the link I posted is a color combo that I have not seen in person and is stunning, IMO - Grigio Ortello (dark gray metallic) w/ tan interior.

as Eric said, paint it the color you want

Who is doing your interior work? That's next on my list after the engine is completed. I'm partial to black, but a dark grey and tan would be pretty distinctive.

My 330 GT 2+2 was originally "Grigio Fumo" or smoke grey with a dark red interior. It's a striking combo and it's how I plan to redo it.

I saw a new car-VW Passat, I think- in a dark metallic grey, and was thinking that color plus a dark red interior would be perfect on my SI 330 2+2. Now it's a 70's silver repaint with a washed-out tan color interior, all in good condition but this scheme is a bit dull and doesn't do it justice.

I think tdf blue sounds great. My 365 was originally silver, now red. Some day I would like to repaint it either back to silver or to some sort of blue.
