I am having the interior redone on my car. We are looking at duplicating the 300+ holes that make up the "speaker" holes in the door's side panels. Other than using the old panel as a template does anyone else have any ideas on how to place and make these holes? Thanks.

I'm going to do some work on mine, but I want to keep the original leather and just replace the foam in the seats and rebuild some of the structure.

This is how I did my 330gt
Laser cut the pattern and make a punch.
Time consuming and expensive but results perfect especially for a 330 where they are so visisble

That's very cool. The jig plate with holes is probably real close to how the factory did it.

I reupholstered a Maserati that had little star shaped perforations in a leather skin and I had a waterjet shop cut it out. Was cheap and turned out perfect.

I like these other ideas. I would not use the original as a template. The material has moved. The results may not be as desired.
