    I just purchased a 1969 365 GT 2+2. It is a US version. Not that it makes much difference to me, but I was advised that the odometer reads in kilometers even though the speedometer reads in mph. Does anyone know this to be the case? Thanks, Gary

    Congrats on the new purchase and welcome to the 365 gt 2+2 owners club. Please post some pictures of the new purchase.

    I have heard that having a speedometer in mph and odometer in kilometers has occurred with other cars so you are probably not alone. I would guess that it was easier for the factory to change the kilometer label over to an mph label and leave the actual mechanism counting in kilometers.

    I suppose it's possible, but seems unlikely if it's a US version. Now I feel like I should go check mine!

    What you are describing was not uncommon on Boxers and other cars which were federalized... Maybe post a pic of your speedometer?

    You're right Mark. Trouble is I don't have the car home yet and I was just anxious to see what the "family" had to say. I'll be glad to post pictures when I receive it. It's a little bit of a project car, but is a strong driver. Looking forward to enjoying it.
