Pretty wide bid/offer gap! The bid would be too low in the U.S., even for a car that has been in long storage, and the offer would be too high. Maybe if the "restoration" (this is a word that can have a wide variety of definitions) was newer.
Yes, but he quoted that there had been the same model and specifics (manual) at 50k sterling on a UK dealer site.... Poor comparison to make but apparently this car has made numerous concours awards....
£30k reserve !!!haha Not a chance, hasn't even bothered to show any engine or interior pics! It said it hasnt been used for years and paint was done many years ago ! The one for £50k has just been completed and will probably be unsold for years. A really nice 412 manual has been available for £30k for over 2 years from a well respected dealer. So an eBay auction for 365 is never gonna get the same . Which is a shame as I could be tempted to sell my 400 manual for double what I paid for it even at £20k!
