Hello I have added a short film to this web page https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/classic-car-tyres/ferrari/365-gt4-bb.html If you have any thoughts about what was original tyres on this car. And please can you let me know your thoughts on tyre pressures. i am also under the impression that another option for this car was the same tyre set up as the Muira SV with 215/70R15 CN12 on the front and 255/60VR15 Cinturato CN12 on the rear. or am i mixing this up with another car. Please let me know your thoughts i want this web page to be as accurate as possible.
Thanks for the video. I do not think the 365 GT4 BB had an option for Borrani wire wheels out of the factory. According to the owner manual the 4 rims were light alloy 7.5" x 15". But of course the owner manual may not be telling the whole story of what was actually delivered on these cars. Similarly the owner manual only mentions the Michelin 215/70 VR15 XWX, so if we believe this document, the Pirelli option did not exist for that car at delivery. Still according to the manual, the tyre pressure is as follows: Speed less than 200km/h or 130mph Front wheels 2.6kg/cm2 or 37.1lb/in2 Rear wheels 3.0kg/cm2 or 42.6lb/in2 Speed above 200km/h or 130mph Front wheels 2.8kg/cm2 or 40.0lb/in2 Rear wheels 3.3kg/cm2 or 47.0lb/in2
This was never an option for either the 365 GT4 BB or the 512BB and the BB512i had Michelin TRX tyres in 240/55 VR 415 sizes all round. Although people put the 9" rears from the 512BB on the 365 GT4 BB, they are not correct.
I agree. However Borrani list original wheels. and they also list wheels that were made as an aftermarket add on, which is what is on here https://www.borrani.com/ferrari-wheels/365-gt4-bb.html Not original. but something someone thought would be cool. I am a big fan of Borrani wheels they are gorgeous. I have them on my Lotus Elite. However i don't think i would have them on a Belinetta Boxer I don't suppose you could post a picture of the page of the owners manual, so i can put it on the web page.
