Just saw it today on Silverado trail heading south about 3 o'clock. Anybody know whose car this is? Dark silver, absolutely gorgeous and what a sound!

    Vincent,
You pathetic piece of ****! It is obvious to everyone that you have a Vintage Ferrari obsession. This is a sickness, and can only be cured ( in the short term) by purchasing and hiding in your garage an old Ferrari.
After talking to your therapist, call me. You need some freeking help!

    Vincent,

Luke is of the opinion that the 365 GTC is th ebest sounding 12 they made. I haven't heard one moving...

Bill: Don't worry. By this time next week Vincent will be SMITTEN with Daytona love. :D

The first step is admitting that you have a problem.

    Hello, my name is Vincent.
I HAVE A VINTAGE FERRARI OBSESSION PROBLEM!

It's true, I need all the help I can get.

I had a ride in Malcom's Daytona in San Diego and whoahhh! that car is awesome. As far as sound I have to say that that 365 GTC/4 I drove was one of the best sounding cars I have ever heard.

I look forward to the day that I can temporarily cure this disease. Until then you're just going to have to put up with my ****!

I drove with a friend to Healdsburg for dinner tonight. Some long straights, some fast twisties, this has to be one of the best places to have one of these cars. I don't feel quite as sick at the moment, but I know it'll be back.

C4's sound really cool when you go through the Caldecot tunnel at 6000 RPM

    Dan,

Have you checked out my 355 video in the tunnel at Yosemite. Ben is hosting it on his website. Look in the Yosemite thread, I think TAS runs rampant.

We should start thinking about planning this bad boy! It's official, I'm in, cleared the schedule, got somebody to watch the dog, I'm ready to go on Wed. afternoon. I'll drop Malcom a pm, haven't in a while and see where he wants to meet us. THere is a tunnel across the continental divide that is pretty famous, named after some pres. or something, someone needs to bring a video camera. Malcom's car does have a certain...je ne sais quoi.

Wouldn't the tunnel be UNDER the Continental Divide? Maybe I'm out of line here Vincent, you know a lot more about tunnels than I do.
But seriously Vincent, you have more Ferrari fun than anyone else I know!
I hope you have a great trip.

Bill, you're WAY out line. :)

Thanks, I just don't want to think: I wish I had done that. I'm taking advantage right now, because hopefully this time next year I won't be able to. If I could get to Montana I would.

Isn't 128 just devine? The day before I tore through Silverado Trail, we should have connected.

    Best!

I drove my first C4 at Symbollic in LA, perhaps 5 years ago. Warmed it up, got a little high sniffing the newly installed connolly, and got into the loud pedal, egged on by the salesman. Loved the sound bouncing off the fancy boutiques and all that silicon on the streets. While it looks like someone's stepped on Datsun 200 SX, or "clown lips" (Keith Martin), it does make nice music and is one of the more "everyday/driveable" older V12s. Only 500 made, and you can find a good one between 50 and $60K. How hard could it be? When I was shopping, we were about 3K off on price, and I ended up with the GTE. Before I left Symbollic, my CEO's son came in to trade his NSX for a 355 Spider. I am sure it was like buying a hot dog for him.

    thx
    luke
