There are two factory spare parts catalogs, print #23/68 and #35/69 (from chassis #12811).

You can try Ben Horton of Horton's books in the UK.
    Or www.6carb.com
    Or eBay.

Thank you Marcel, I do have the parts catalog and owners manual for my car, but just wondered if there was a Workshop manual ( more detailed than the owners manual )

Aside from the owners manual and parts catalogue, Ferrari never made a workshop manual for the 365GT 2+2. They did do a short manual outlining the different aspects of the emissions system on USA version cars. This was called the 365GT 2+2 Chassis Service Manual Abstract. I believe it has a better/larger wiring diagram than the owners manual for USA version cars.

You can purchase and original here: http://www.ferrariliterature.com/products/prodid/8533/fn/NL1971WSM007 (1).JPG or a reproduction here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Ferrari-365-GT-2-2-Chassis-Service-Manual/133035256627?hash=item1ef984eb33:g:mLgAAOSwDvBcxKqv

Ferrari also printed a repair manual just for the differential: Original https://www.ebay.com/itm/Ferrari-365-GT-2-2-Differential-Workshop-Manual-OEM/172635409456?hash=item2831df4c30:g:m0QAAOxyNmZTkfOj:sc:USPSPriority!94702!US!-1

The closest you get for a workshop manual is a 330GTC/S manual that was translated by the late Angelo Wallace into English. The basic engine/carb/distributor repair is a good start for your car and is much more comprehensive than the owners manual. The 330GTC transaxle is going to be completely different from your car as are a bunch of other things, but it gives you torque specs and other important information on the Ferrari V12 Columbo engine.
This shop lists them on their site: https://books4cars.com/listings.php?findmake=Ferrari&model=330&year=3000&type=%

    Hello Brian,
Thank you for the information. My car is a Euro version and the italian language is fine for me.
I shall delve into the 330 GTC literature with the Distributer and carbs info . That must be good

One thing to remember is that from the 365 motor on, the V12s were all bottom timers. On the 330 and previous engines you would check the ignition timing and cam timing using marks on the flywheel as viewed through an oval inspection port at the top rear of the engine between the distributors (except for the very early 166 Spyder Corsas, which have the timing hole in the block behind the 1-6 cylinder head).

365 and later v12s have a plate on the bottom of the rear of the engine that is held on by four screws. There is a fifth screw with a pointed end that is the pointer for timing. All ignition timing and cam timing is done at the port on the bottom of the motor, even though the oval upper plate is still there.
Use the ignition timing and cam timing specifications from your owners manual, as they are different from the 330 engine.
