I do not know if this is real, a friend in Ca. sent it to me:

This Ferrari Daytona is an early European production version still fitted as from new, with the ultra-cool and original "Perspex" covered head lights. The Exterior color is traditional "Rosso Corsa" red with the darker "Tobacco" leather interior with black inserts. There is zero rust or accident damage but this example is just an exceptional driver quality example as it lacks full books, records and tools.

Only $299,000 or equivallent in Pounds, Euros... etc.. as well as acceptable trade-vehicles will see this Ferrari potentially headed your way.

This Daytona was ordered and sold new via Spanish Ferrari Distributor to the first Expatriate owner in Grand Canaria Isles. Then early on to Switzerland where it remained until sold to Jean Guikas in Marseille, France. The Engine was rebuilt by Ferrari Client Services and fitted in 2006 and the car then sold to Dr. James Shiba from whom we purchased it.

Here are the specific details for this Ferrari:

    Chassis No.: 13745
    TYPE: 365 GTB/4
    BODY: Berlinetta
    CHASSIS: Tipo 605
    MOTOR: Tipo 605
    GEARBOX: Tipo 251
    REAR AXLE: Tipo 605
    ASSY #: 287
    BODY#: 287
    MODEL: European production
    BUILT: October 1970

Identified as 365 GTB/4. Destinazione Makowsky, Canary Islands, assembly sequence no. 287, body no. 287. Fitted with air conditioning.

Then sold and remained in Switzerland until 2006 with long-term ownership in the collection of Axel Mazersk.

Advertised May 2006 Classic & Sports Car magazine by Jean Guikas GTC, Marseille, France. Plexi nose. Very recent engine supplied by the Ferrari Factory and fitted 5,000 kms ago.

I would be please to email full sets of inspection photos for those who have further interest. Also available are the following vehicles:

    -1957 AC Bristol Roadster

    -1958 Aston Martin MKIII Saloon

    -1960 Chevrolet Impala Convertible

-1961 Jaguar E-Type SI OTS Roadster

    -1961 Jaguar E-Type SI Coupe

    -1973 Jaguar E-Type SIII Roadster

    -1961 Mercedes Benz 220SE Cabriolet

    -1981 Ferrari 308/288 GTO/GTU IMSA Race Car

As always, you are more than welcome to share this email and what it contains with anyone you wish. Please also let me know if you no longer wish to receive these periodic updates.

You posted in the right section the first time, the roasting you got in Vintagae seems to derive from unrelated issues.

If you are asking about the Bill they where talking about in Vintage NO! My bud in Ca is Eddie J. has a Porsche 356 and is a Colt gunsmith that does all my Colt custom work. He and I exchange interesting car stuff via email which is where this started. My sole intention was to spread the word about a neat car for sale for the forum members. I had no clue Rob that I would open this can of poo. Certainly won't happen again.
