    Good day Brett,

That is indeed true. In regards to the Anamera list, some prices have gone up a bit, but another interesting part is that none of these cars have been sold in well over 1+ years... Some I believe over 2+ years.

Anyway, I have attached a few screen shots of the list to minimize the key strokes for those that are interested. BTW the red Canadian 365 is a phantom ad and does not exist and has not for over 2 years.

    Cheers,

    Sam

    hey Sam,

IIRC, John Scotti bought the red 365 at the Toronto auction a couple of years ago.

here are a couple of pics for you of the 365 we are finishing up...just a proper shift knob and radio delete plate away from being done and the road testing started last week.

these are my favorite Ferrari's by a wide margin...the 456 GT and the BB512 have failed to make the same impression on me and the sounds they make just don't compare.

i hope you find 'yours' soon because they won't be cheap forever...they're just far too special to be underappreciated forever.

every Ferrari that prededed it went through the same period before they started to go back up and it will happen to the 365/400 as well.

i'd love to find an original silver/black 365 that needs some love...i'd let everything else go to make that happen.

    Brett,

Just curious...What the dash covered in? Looks a bit like a cross between mouse hair and Alcantara. Whatever it is, it looks great!!

    Thanks,
    David

    Good day Brett,

Indeed, that car looks awesome! The interior looks fantastic. How about some whole car pics too ?

As for my search... well, it continues, although I have not been putting a tremendous amount of effort into it (other than watching the market) simply because I have several new product releases to do this year (translation my spare time is minimal) and since they are all self financed my disposable $$$ is not overly abundant... hence my budget ...

No matter, the journey continues :)

    Cheers,

    Sam

    thanks Jay...all the best.

hey David...after getting 'mousehair' samples from all the usual suspects, i opted for the material from HVL...Henk tells me it's made on the original equipment by one of the original operators.

regardless, when we compared it to the material in a local Daytona, we knew we had the material we wanted to go forward with.

    thanks, take care.
thanks Sam...and when the timing is right, you'll find your car.

it easily could Jim...your leather was absolutely outstanding and you're only some new mousehair away from a stunning interior...but, unsurprisingly, it isn't cheap...

we had 28 pieces recovered for this car and when all was said and done, the mousehair bits alone cost me $4500...but, again, that's all you'd need...so you're 'lucky' !

looking really nice, i love the moleskin style finish more classic/cool looking in the mould of daytona /365GTC , i wish my 84 400i had that finish. Did it change to leather in the 400i or before in the carb?

the classic era styling cues of the 365 have really grown on me over the past 5 years but overall, i still prefer the interior of my 400A...

no mousehair though, which ended with the 365...but it's the knock-off wheels and triple rear lamps that have me favouring the 365 now.

i'll take some pics of the car for you today Sam...

We put Henk's 'mousehair" in Hugh's Dino and it is absolutely the perfect re-creation of the original material. There was some original materal hidden by the glove compartment and it matched so well that it was difficult to tell them apart.

Agree about the 6 rear lights !! Would love to retro fit these if it didn't cost ££££ for the lights.... Didn't someone say some early 400s may have had 6 rears? ;-)
