I've recently viewed a full hood and will definitely go with a full versus half next replacement. Barely noticeable with new product and no more line to deal with when detailing.

For a brand new car, I would, and I did. For a used car, it depends on its condition at the time of purchase and the amount of and the kind of driving I plan to do with it. Also to consider is whether you plan to keep the car very long or prefer to keep trading up. If you always keep your cars a very long time you could touch up along the way and I don't think it impacts the car's value.

I did a full frontal plus A pillars, the entire sill/rocker panel. Rear edges of rear wheel wells and contact area for the folding rear window above the trunk were also wrapped.

I think it depends a lot on where you live and where you are planning to drive it. I drove for 2.5 years my Cali in London, in the countryside and on track and never got a stone chip.
I did however put a film on front and back bumpers and wings as there are too many idiots who think that it is ok to bump or scrape your car when parking! It saved me at least 4 or 5 times!!

Absolutely do the WHOLE hood, fenders, mirrors and rocker panels. If you only do a third of the hood the first time a stone hits above the protection you'll wish you had. The new 3M Venturashield is excellent. I had it done on 6 of my cars and it is virtually undetectable and has not yellowed after years of use. You won't be sorry.

Agree. Do the whole hood and in fact the whole front. Also consider strips in front of the rear wheel arches as they tend to get hit.

I did not do my 2013 . I did do my 2011 I put in on only the front bumper turned out pretty good did not leave a line. I have not gotten any stone chips on either car.. If i wanted to do a film I would either only do the front bumper on do the whole front hood .. The line across the hood is unacceptable to me for those that do 1/2 of the hood..
all a matter of how you drive and ..the road conditions..
