Rob, I will be able to make it to the dinner. It will be me and three others if that is not a problem. (4 people total) Ryan Skarzenski Norwood Performance
Are we gonna meet up for qualifying again this year or not? We should probably get on the ball here, not much longer
Rikky, do you mind taking the lead on this? I think meet same place as last year, but a little earlier so we can be up in the stands at least 30 min ahead of time. Maybe you can find the old graphic I did last year with the "X". Post the graphic and time to meet and I think that's all we need. I'm actually not going to post my PCS this year or it will ring all weekend. However, if a couple want it go ahead and PM me. Thanks.

You can find me in the same place as last year. I will be the fat guy in the Ferrari hat taking pictures of hot female butts
Dave, Does a Ford Taurus rent a car with SF shields on the fenders count??? Beast See you saturday evening
My brother just called me and told me that he'll be in Indy this weekend for this event. It kind of surprised me as he's never really been a race fan. I told him where you guys were eating on Friday so he could go look at the cars, he IS a Ferrari fan.
Alright then, here is the picture from last year. Since qualifying starts a noon, we need to try to get there in advance in order to get good seats as section H will fill up fairly quickly. The Porsches qualify from 10:25-11:10, so I will say that we meet at the red X (as indicated on the map) at 11:00. By the time the Porsches are done and everyone has a chance to clear out a little bit we can walk up and stake our claim on an area - say around 11:20-11:25, in that area. I will be at the red X wearing my white Ferrarichat.com polo. If you happen to miss us then you can venture up into stand H and look for us, and also if you are having trouble finding people then you can call me at 419-722-0156 and I will direct you toward the group. As an addendum, I am 18 years old, white ferrarichat.com polo, most likely khaki cargo shorts, 6' tall, skinny, etc. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks Rikky! I'll be there along with RonR, Greg Scott, and Jon Owen. Who else meeting for qualifying?
I should be there also unless i find a great spot to take pictures from if so i will let one of you know. Also if you get seats at the very top of section H give me a shout Rob
Should be a good time - Is he an F1 fan or is he new to the sport altogether? Also, Beast you have to come, I think we all want to hear some more racing stories
He is a new F1 fan since about two months ago when I offered him my extra ticket. We will try and hook up with y'all for the qualifying. my
I'm going to bed now. We fly out at 7am. I'll be in Indy by 9am and have a beer and bratwurst by 10am. See those at Saturday qualifying and Saturday night. Looking forward to another great weekend, this is one of my favorite of the year.
Great first day. Got to the track yesterday right when the first practice was starting. We watched on the grassy nole at the last corner before the oval. We watched the second practive over on the new terrace seating (I think called turn 6). These are great seats! Except there is not a TV screen within viewing. I knew last year when they announced these it would be a great seat. IMHO the H section is still just a little better, but glad there are some more better quality seats than being on the straight. Went from the track to the FCA show. Very good turnout, I think around 30-40 cars. Highlights were 3 F1 cars, original Daytona Spider (X Rod Stewart), 330 2+2, and a gorgeous 275 GTB/4. Hung out at Rock Bottom. Hung out at Hooters. Home a little after Midnight. Today plan is to meet FC people for qualifying and then get together for the dinner tonight. I love F1 in Indy!
Nice to get to meet all of you that did not come to the dinner last year. Indy will have great weather for the race today. Hopefully the Ferrari team will finish 1-2!!
Dave, My son & I enjoyed meeting you and the rest of the crowd, as well. As you noted, the weather was great. Regarding the finish, I'll just defer to the discussion in the racing section. And regarding your signature slogan, WOW, I was really impressed with your two red toys I saw this weekend. Very nice. Looking forward to another get together sometime.
