Has anyone had any experience with 3rd party protection plans? Specifically a company called Concord Auto Protect. Looking into it for my 2017 599 with 22k miles. Got a quote of about $6800 for 3 yrs, or $5800 for 2 yrs. Engine, Transmission, Drive Axles, Electrical, Cooling, Brakes, Heating, AC, Fuel system, ABS, Hi Tech electronics, Turbos, Rear Front suspension, and a lot of emergency roadside stuff - all listed as covered. Haven't seen any of the fine print (yet). But it sounds pretty good.

Beware in general when they list what is covered, it’s not too bad if they list was is not covered at the same time. E.g. F1 gearbox parts may not be covered because of all the robotised bits. Also there may be some fine print wriggle outs in the event of claim. Watching with interest.

I just got this quote from Concord for their "premium" plan.

Doesn't look like it covers a lot of parts that may need covering (F1 pump, etc). Though they did say the $9K limit would be changed to KBB value for all exotic policies. Any input is appreciated.

Seems to me that just put $6k in a CD every 2 years would be better. I don't know that spending the $$ for a limit of $9K makes any sense.

There is no 9k limit for a 612. There's an addendum raising the limit to kbb value.
