Anyone got a worn or cheap exhaust piece for a 3x8, from which I can salvage its two flanges? Would take a burned out cat, test pipe, maybe damaged muffler, etc?

    Thanks.

I've got the old cats off my '78. Pay for shipping plus $40 for packaging them up and they are yours. They are pretty heavy though so it's not gonna be cheap to ship them.

Seems you only want one though, same deal $20 for packaging and pay shipping costs and it's yours.

Chevy 350 header gaskets work on308 /328 cat bypass test pipes. I have a straight pipe set up off my last 328 still and it measures the same as a standard carb era 350 Camaro header at the flange. (My 328 pipe is not for sale.) I remember buying Volvo gaskets until I realized the flanges were the same size as a Chevy.

That's good to know re: gaskets. I actually need the flanges in order to match them up with the header extension pipes for a custom piece I'm working on, and didn't want to cut up the OEM exhaust or cats that I saved.

Let me know if you have the flanges, I just did my exhaust. I can cut a few more flanges out of 3/16" stainless on the cnc plasma
