Even if many thread exist on this subject, I want to share the measurement I just did on my 328 . - Right side window do not move up at all, no problem to go down. - When I put from external battery +/- 12 V directly at the motor wires, the window go up and down quickly, without any problem. - When I disconnect the motor wires from the connector and measure the voltages, I have +/- 12 V depending on switch up or down. - BUT when I reconnect the motor wires to the connector, I have ~0,5 V for window up, 12 V for window down... I think I will disassemble the motor for checking and cleaning ... ? Any idea is welcome ! Thanks, Image Unavailable, Please Login
If you are applying 12V+/- directly to the window motor connections and the window goes up and down, then the problem is not in the motor unit. Something is happening elsewhere in the circuit that is cutting the voltage when it's under load. If you search the old threads, there are several ways to fix the "slow window" issue, including improving the ground to the circuit and installing a couple of relays that by-pass the switch circuit and deliver current directly from the battery. Do a search and you'll find them. You might have to search for 308 threads rather than 328, but the fix is basically the same, if I recall correctly.
Found the root cause: Bad switch on driver side. I disassembled it; the continuity test was bad between 2 pins. After cleaning everything, it worked again. I put some electrical cleaning product in the switch and reassembled everything. Now, both windows worked again. Tomorrow, I finally can go to see the the start of "Tour de France" automobile ! Around 30 to 40 Ferraris are expected (3 GTOs 1962). Image Unavailable, Please Login
