Well my F1 brothers, it is just about that time again. It has been a long a tumultuous off season. So many changes, so much uncertainty and so much anticipation. I just can't wait!

A lot has happened to me since last season. Most importantly, I purchased my first Ferrari (http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=236761). As some of you might remember, I am a pretty die hard McLaren and Lewis Hamilton fan. But I love my Ferrari road car so much that it is getting tough not to hope for a good showing from Kimi and Massa.

I look forward to sharing the season with you guys again!

I know how you feel!, and your honesty on here is to be admired, can't say I'am a die hard Mclaren fan, but I love the fact they give Ferrari great competition.

Excited and looking forward to a fair fight..;)

i can't wait! last year was my first year watching F1, so this year I will know what's going on. thankfully they kept the WDC points rule.

were it not for the cheating, i would be a big McLaren fan. so now i find myself more of a driver's fan than a team fan. hamilton's ok but i think it's more of having a good car than him being a good driver.

He's much better than OK, he's one of the very best drivers currently in F1.

Looking forward to the start of the season also. I love the new "throwback" cars (they remind me of the mid-90's F1 cars with the slicks and rear wings), and the drama of seeing who will emerge as the early-season favorite. Did Brawn ever release their livery? Any idea of who the sponsor is yet? That could impact my decision to pull for them in 2009 (not at the expense of Mass/Kimi/Ferrari though)

    Only three more days!

i should add, were it not for the institutionalized cheating, aka FIA discretionary rules and penalties, i might also/instead be a big Ferrari fan.
