4 door rocket-question

on hwy today and see 211 chasis/e55 amg w/ "renntech" badging. at cruise speed and a 997s(two young guys, could not see 55 driver) pull along side 55. all of a sudden the 997 floors it, the 55 responded and within a few seconds from 45 mi slow roll onto fwy straight-away, the 55 put 1-2 car lengths on porsche and was pulling away like a freight train. never seen anything like it. when got off for gas about 5 mi.'s ahead the 55 was the car in front of me. driver said it was a stage 3 (ecu/pulley/headers) and was roughly 590 hp/620 tq at crank. he had dragged the car @ 1/4 and said it runs consistent 11.6-11.8 & 120-121 trap speed. oh my...anyone ever seen one of these 55's...have seen a Kleeman, but guess reentech is another amg tuner. these things are scarey fast...

 

yes/ sure it would be pleasantly frightful. guy said he rarely has anyone try and pull on car, not even the exotics, but the few p-cars/m5's/f-cars (a couple 360's) have been of no real threat from slow roll/dig to 120 mph. the thing is a beast.
