"In all, the car cost him $80,000 per minute that he drove it and he had to settle for a ride home in a tow truck"........WOW! That must have been one sad ride!
This story is total bollocks He drove over a pothole and did £1750.00 of damage to the wheel and front skirt. The 4 minites is true though. Andy
I drive a 575, and man that 212 mph over $300K monster is so low that my feet are placed higher than my shoulders when touching the pedals. It can't turn at all, regadless because while Im staring at the sky because of the sitting position, I don't bother to look at the road in front of me... Im actually 6 foot 4 inches tall, and the 575 is the only Fcar I've been in to feel comfortable, ( 360's lower wheel arch feels strange and older TRs simply too small, same wheel arch problem, even steering wheel too big and left leg rests on gearshift. ) I've topped out the wheels in some pot holes only because traffic on either side made an evasive move impossible. Things sneak up on your quick but ints only because of the driving style. To which I admit: only an idiot would really unload a 500 HP car on an unknown road. I feel bad about this car being damaged, but given the stats in the article, my own experiences with my car, this must be very overblown. At the very least all I hope it is a little bit of front end damage and the new owner does not have to shell out to much in repair. Best wishes to him. RocketBoy
not sure...a newspaper columnist here in houston wrote a column once about picking up a new truck and having an accident turning left out of the dealership...he said he will only turn right from now on! tell this guy that, so he'll know!
