    Hi,

Looking at putting a 4 post lift in my garage. I have plenty of space, but like most people delivery is an issue since I don't have a forklift. Has anyone had a lift installed in the denver area and if so are you happy with whomever did it?

    Thanks

I had a lift installed last year. Garageworks in Loveland did everything. Installed a Rotary Revolution. They did a great job.

I used Colorado Automotive Equipment Repair for our Bend Pak lift. They did a good job. They are in Denver.

I've installed my own 4-posters and it can be done without a forklift. You do need two strong guys and two furniture-moving dollies on which to put the ramp that containts the hydraulics -- it weights almost 600 pounds, but if you both lift one end to put on each dolly you can easily move it onto position. Takes about 3 hours to assemble.

The tricky part in our lift install was getting the posts aligned. Our floor was not as flat as I thought it was. So the installers had to repeatedly add shims to get the posts straight. The drilling of the holes looked like a bit of a job too.
