Just dropped off my 812 for it's annual service after 4 years!

This is definitely the best car I have ever owned, almost the perfect car. Problems have been quite limited in it's 17k miles or so of driving. The only thing I noted to them was that the door seals are a bit dry and squeaky at the moment.

Total problems I've had include 1 dead battery (only 1?), rear glass recall replacement, one bad TPS that was throwing low pressure warnings for no reason. Other than that the car has been solid, just make sure to plug the thing in!

It's time for me to renew the PPF, I'm thinking about adding a yellow stripe at the same time to match some of the 812 Comp cars I've seen.

    Overall, amazing car, amazing times.

So did you do the bumper to bumper extended warranty for years 4 & 5 or just the power train?

I think the yellow stripe would look good on your 812. The blue and yellow goes well together.

Since your car is going in for it's annual, I know in about a month I'll be getting a call to schedule my 812 :D. I am jealous of your limited battery problems, considering I'm on my 3rd.

None of that. Since I'm planning on keeping the car forever the warranty isn't a big issue for me.

You put more miles on it though. Mine sits with a tender a lot of the time. I'm sure this battery will be broken soon ;)

Did you ever figure out a good replacement?

I haven’t gone through with the antigravity battery yet. I think that’s probably the best solution to the problem, but for now I’m just running an aftermarket AGM battery. Since getting the F8, the 812 has had a little bit of reduction in miles. I’d be at 30k if I wasn’t driving the F8 as much. Nearly 4K miles on the F8 since start of July

To be clear, you meant TPMS for tire pressure monitoring system not the TPS for throttle position sensor..

Same here, best car I ever had, 3 years, 22k kilometer and not a single problem.
When I did the ppf I asked for a yellow stripe but they said there won't be a good result when they put a second film on top - same when they cut it of the transparent one.

    Looks great...I love the 812.

Seems like some miles on F12 and 812's do not hurt resale as much as miles hurt mid engine Ferrari. Thoughts?

My 2019 488 has 7800 miles on it and I am being told too many miles for a 2019 and what it is worth is greatly diminished.

My 488 has been solid, original battery showed signs of losing it's muscle so I replaced 2 years ago with an Interstate battery and keep it trickle charged, headliner started to sag but my dealer (Tampa) went to bat for me and got it re-upholstered under warranty. All service done at dealer.

I love to drive so maybe a 812 will be my next one. I love the V12 sound too.

The V12 cars are something special for sure. Not sure if there’s much of a difference in depreciation for miles vs the V8 cars. The smiles are worth the dollars, they are toys after all
