Yes, I remember when that article came out. Being an owner of a BBI, I wasn't happy with that 176 number. Especially when the carb'ed cars were tested at 188mph (i think in the Guinness book of world records in ?????1978? Please let me know if my statement is correct.
i think i remember the carbed car achieving 178 in 1978, and that was the fastest car in the world at the time.
