FYI the radiator fans are made by Lucas and fit the XKE Jag, the power mirror switch is BMW, and on and on. Most 400 owners already know this info.

Yes the answer is the rear view mirror.. I only found out when I accidently knocked it off with my head!

I take your point Dave there are very experienced people on this forum and others a various stages of the learning curve and I suppose my desire was to help that learning with a quize rather than a stuffy Q&A with multitude of individual searches.

    Sounds like fun,
1980's Volvo's used the same valve adjustment shims, which were easy to find.

As if life was not painful enough you went for excessive pain at the dentist office. I feel your pain......................... maybe a couple of bottles of your fine wine and some pills will numb the pain.

That 400 at Copart has been on the block twice now and did not get higher than 15 grand. I called to get the consigners name to see what he would take but copart would not give that information out. So i have crossed it off my bucket list.

Dave I hope you're feeling better soon. The dentist is one of those places that at best is a neutral situation but can be much worse.

Yeah, I'm sorry, I really didn't mean to be or sound like a jerk.
I'll sit back, be quiet, try to be a good boy, and maybe learn something.
    :D

(ps) if a dentist ever trys to convince you to get a bunch of teeth pulled buy lots of booze and vicodin; you're going to need it

Ferrari earliest cars used engines designed by Gioacchino Colombo, who had formerly designed Alfa Romeos for Enzo Ferrari. These V12 powerplants were used in Formula 1 racing and in a succession of Fcars being enlarged each time until the Colombo engine was enlarged again to 4823 cc for 1976's 400 with 81 mm bore and a 78 mm stroke.

Gioacchino Colombo refered to it as 'bullet proof' (due to it long history of use in many cars and racing applications)

I've been mad enough at mine a few times I thought about pulling my gun (hey, I live in Texas what can I say?) and shooting it. I guess that would have been an excersize in futility huh?
