Does anyone know where to get 400i brake calipers, front and rear?
    Any help would be appreciated.

A good start would be to join the 400 club.

There is a company called Overstock Auto Parts in NJ. They have an eBay store.

PMB performance does a great job of rebuilding the calipers to new condition for $419/pr.

I suspect the 400i is making use of ATE brakes as used on the 400.
If you get stuck you could consider to get in contact with the ATE manufactor.
They have a very good aftermarket service:

The front calipers are definitely shared with a BMW model of the era. The BMW uses a thinner caliper so the pads are a different thickness. If you go to a brake pad site like Hawk and match the pads you can work backwards to the BMW model. The rears may be too unless they used an alternate hand brake arrangement.

    Hi,

I take it from your post that you are looking to buy the callipers outright rather than rebuild existing ones. I had to replace a missing calliper on my car & was able to purchase it from -

    Ferrari 400 - Brakes

    Cheers Al

@SouthJersey400i, that's good to know. Can you be more specific which BMW model did use these type of ATE brakes.

@Al Campbell, good catch. I purchased the revision kits for my brakes from there:

Ferrari 400: 400 maintenance: brakes overhauling

I don't recall they had calipers on stock. Looks like he is expanding his online shop. Also the online documentation seems to be increasing. Bookmark that site.

There is a parallel thread for "bigger front brakes" and someone gave the year and model BMW in that thread. I did not find out myself.

...here is a bargain, the rears are off a BMW1802...rebuilt can be purchased for less than $100. Here is one side...The 400 is actually wider, so the Ferrari 400 site sells spacers to turn these into 400 width. As well, you'd need the O-rings.
I bought one of these and robbed it for its seals and pistons...

...the quality of the Cardone rebuild is much better than any of us could do for the same price, at least if you count in the re-plating of the body (the cheapest lot cost that the plater I use would be $60). Plus new bleeders plus pistons that looked absolutely new). If I remember correctly, BMW2002 had a couple versions of front calipers, so at least on Ebay you get to correlate the picture (but when buying seals, may be a little more caution needed to get the right ones...)--Lee
