    Hello all..
I have a question regarding 400i cars that have body color matched bumpers.. I have seen supposedly a few original paint low mileage cars and bumpers were body color. I have always questioned it but cant find any concrete answers to support. Was this optional upon request from Ferrari when a car was ordered or were all 400i bumpers black only ???

    Best regards,, Robert.

    Hi Robert,

    Welcome aboard.

My understanding is that all of the 400is left the factory with black bumpers so the only ones which had body colored bumpers were the cars that were painted black :) .

Agree. Body colored bumpers were standard starting with the 412 but not before.

PS: Welcome to Ferrari Chat and the 400 Forum. Please tell us a bit about your 400i GT, presumably a 5 speed. Stories about how you found the car, its history prior to and during your ownership and anything else, including pictures, that you care to share are most welcome!
