Hello, Can anyone tell me if the exhaust headers are different between an automatic & 5spd 400i and also if they are different between a RHD & a LHD? I may need the LH exhaust header for a 5spd RHD car & just trying to find out what others it might interchange with or if it is unique to those cars. Thanks, Michael Payne
I do not see why they should be different. My 400i LHD appears to have mirror image headers. They are no where near the g-box so why would auto and 5-speed be different? A few posters have had new headers made or refurbished; they should be able to say for sure. Ken
My suggestion is to look up the online parts diagrams at Ricambi or Eurospares and see if there are different part numbers for the RHD & LHD version or the automatic. M
