    Was fixing an exhaust leak at my balance pipes last night and noticed my headers are white like my 365 boxer headers. Do all 2+2's have white headers? The 365 boxer headers have a spray on aluminum coating in a sparkling white metallic color rather than just paint. That's what these look like.

    Bare metal with a rust-like patina is the only finish I've ever seen :p

    Interesting... Perhaps some sort of aftermarket ceramic coating and/or aftermarket headers (don't even know if these are or were available)?

    Mine were bare/ rusted prior to getting a ceramic coat. My primary goal was to get a longer lifespan. Maybe they reduce under hood temps too.

    Headers are white up to the heads like a 365 boxer. So I touched up the collectors when I fixed the leak. Right or not I like em.

    Christian's picture looks like high temperature paint and a lot of it. I have seen ceramic coated headers and they have no gloss, quite dull. Maybe ceramic technology has advance.

    I remember Aidan getting his ceramic coated several years ago, maybe he'll run into this thread, post pics, etc. :D
