400i On The Transporter- 412 to follow...

    OK so part 1 of my 2011 "What Was I Thinking" Ferrari tour is underway.

    The restored 83 400i 5-Speed is on the truck, should be here in Boston in a few days. Gonna wait on getting the 412 shipped until I can get my garage at work sorted- stuffed with Porsches right now.

    Went through my box of 308/328 spares and found a cool Momo steering wheel new in the box from the early 80s- Center section is covered in leather and I'm having it recovered in bone leather to match the "Two Tone" scheme of the car- Hope it doesn't look too "kit car".

    Been in touch with a few of the new England based 400/412 crowd- Let's see if we can get as many of these cars together as we can this Spring/Summer!!
