    If you disconnect the k-jet safety switch, the car should start regardeless the state of the accumulator.

    oddly it still wouldn't. I disconnected the safety switch, let the pumps run with the key 'on' for a bit, still nothing. Replacing the accumulators did seem to solve my issue though.
