    Good day Jack,

    They do show a pic of the engine bay and I was able to enlarge the area (passenger fender) where the VIN/Chassis number is located. It is a bit pixelated, however I made the chassis number out to be 53797 and searching on here I found a post I made in 2012:

    Looking at the post's pics and the one on the hyman site, it looks like the same car except for the rims being different.

    The owner in the 2012 thread was in St. Louis, same location as Hyman. I’ll take a look at the BAT auction you linked. Based solely upon his posting history here he hardly seems the enthusiast Hyman describes.

    Edit: The car was bid to $48,500 (reserve not met) on BAT in May, 2020. Less than three months later Hyman is asking a $40,000 premium over that.
