OPP Charge Driver Involved in Collision Caught on Dash Cam

“UPDATE”

(Toronto, Ontario) -The OPP’s Highway Safety Division has completed its investigation of a collision that occurred in the eastbound lanes of Hwy 401 west of Keele St. in the City of Toronto.

The collision occurred on Thursday February 9, 2012 at approximately 4:20 pm involving two motor vehicles, an Acura TSX and a Subaru Legacy, that was recorded on a dash cam.

As a result of the Investigation, the OPP has charged the male driver of the Acura TSX Ragurub YOGARAJAH, 26 years of age from Ajax, Ontario with:

Fraud over $5000
Attempt Fraud
Public Mischief

The accused has been released on a promise to appear for a court date in Toronto
