Perhaps we should seek events worldwide - particularly in October to commemorate the unveiling at the Paris Motor Show (a quick google does not yield the exact date - anyone ?)
In now days, in the Paris motor show, as far as I know they do not commemorate anything ... By the way, it is an excellent opportunity to have a great event in the "Sport et Collection" !!! We have two original cars presented in October 1975 : a "Giallo Fly" one on Pozzi area and an "Azzurro metalizzato" on Pininfarina one. Coming as the descent of the 206/246 but with a V8, the 308 is, with its fabulous design and awsome driving experience, one of the best know Ferrari ! Hope having you in France in next summer

OK so we can fix the first public appearance as Thursday October 2 - should this be regarded as the launch or were there also pictures released on Friday September 26 ?
The OP forgot to mention that he's talking about the 40th anniversary of the GTB, not the GT4. Both happen to be presented to the public at the Paris salon, albeit two years apart.

We should have a nation wide or perhaps a state wide 308 40th anniversary celebration here next year. Anyone want to plan or organize it? We will give full support.

Hoping to bring the Vetro over for this! Can't find a program of events for the 2015 weekend only for 2014, am I missing it somewhere? Do we know yet what 308 specific parades/events there will be over the weekend? thanks, Mike
