    My fuel gauge seems to have a will of its own . When the tank is half full , the indicator can fluctuate anywhere between empty and half full , changing every second.

    Normal for a Ferrari ?

    There can be a bit of fluctuation as you go round corners, but not in a straight line.
    The centre bank of instruments has an earth lead, if it's faulty sometimes the gauges can give funny readings, specially with lights on...

    If you had a 400 the fuel gauge goes much quicker to empty!
