Pretty, low mileage 5 speed 412s like this one are being advertised for around €100,000 in Europe currently, and there are very few on the market. All Japanese sold 412s have Euro VINs (I can almost read the serial number etched into the windscreen - 71819?). The radio is modern and it has a later warning lamp and switch under the instruments but otherwise it looks very original. There are still a lot of 412s in Japan - demand was high during the good times when they were new - so there should be plenty of garages with expertise to keep them well maintained. David
Looks beautiful. These cars change hands fairly infrequently so it is only a guess, but my guess is that in the U.S. a car like this would sell for about $100k +/- $5k.
Looks beautiful and I like the apparent full service history and single ownership aspect. Makes it much easier to understand what its life has been like. Interesting that it was ordered new for a Japanese owner who apparently decided on a left hand drive even though he lives in a right hand drive country. Nice for you!
