am looking into a 412i...but the wheels of the 400 are so much nicer. Can the 412i ones be replaced?

I'm sure that they could be replaced, just not with the 400i or 400 wheels as I understand that the change to the convex 412 wheel design was necessary to accommodate the antilock braking system.

Yeah, unfortunately one of the worst parts about the 412 are those ugly wheels. (same
goes for the late 328s with ABS).

Aftermarket is the only way I believe.

I think the changes to the boot line and the wheels are great on the 412. A rare case of changing an early design and not making it worse.

Funny, I think the wheels (especially the wheels!) and the raised bootline sort of ruined the 400.

I might be able to accept the raised bootline if that coupled with the wheels didn’t happen. But together, eww.

That being said, I love the orange gauges, the clear front lenses, and the engine upgrades. And I do respect the car.

I guess it’s better done than the 512M, haha.
