    Does anyone here have any ideas as to when a scale model of the 430 will be released... I am guessing that Hotwheels will be producing it.. but when....?

    It should have been "out" by now like what happened to the 612.....guess either they are in the process of releasing it or there may be a change of licensee !

    If it's the later...I sure hope cos like AutoArt, Minichamps or Kyosho make a nice accurate and good quality model of the F430 !

    I'm sure that Mattel/HW will do a good job.

    Why? Because like the 612, they'll need a new mould unlike their 360cs.

    I reckon it'll be out next year - I don't think they have the lead time to get it out for this X'Mas.

    Well let's hope so...but when the car was in design stage and the design frozen and first prototype model ready...most model makers like BBR, Mattel etc would have been given photos, dimensions etc to start making the new model....one example being BBR who will launch the new F430 in Nov this year.
    Mattel should know they should get the new F430 asap as there are demands for this model and they should do it fast to get it before x'mas !

    Isn't Mattel scheduled to launch models at thee same presentation of the real car itself?
    but again when is the 430 going to be presented officially?
    I hope they have other colors available and not only the same old boring red

    Grandprix Legends has the 1:18 Mattel 430 in the catalog that I got today. Release "by the end of the year".

    The 612 was different. Several moths before the official presentation, we could see the scketches, the pics, etc. two or three moths before presentation.
    The F430 has been more "secret" to everyone.
    I hope that Hot Wheels will do a good job on the F430. Better than on the 612, and the 360 CS...
    Grand Prix Legends, Hot Wheels, i don't care, but i need a F430 asap!!!!! :D
