    Hi there,

Had my 430 F1 coupe for a week or so now and it's amazing. It's a far better car in every department than the Gallardo I used to have. The one thing that's annoyed (there has to be something) is the Bluetooth set up. I have a motorola SLVR (the thin one) and the reception is crap - it all links up well, but the person I'm calling can hardly call me. Is this due to the phone or is the system rubbish?

    Can anyone help?

    James

Probably the phone, I've got a razr and a pebble and they both have flaky bluetooth connections (so maybe it's a motorola thing?)

A friend of my uses his 430 bluetooth with a Nokia and apart from difficulties understanding how to set it up in the first place, it works fine

No the blue tooth in F430 is rubbish full stop. !!!!
Im in the cellular industry and can tell you that i have tried different models in my F430 and they all have the same problem. The receipent cant either hear or there is a constant echo

I suggest do what i do, wear a wired ear piece. Or if you really want to be 'handsfree' get a car kit fitted.

The Bluetooth in the F430 is rubbish. I use a Nokia 8800 and the person who I’m calling can only hear me at low speeds but when I accelerate all they can hear is the car noise. Good fun when you want the person to hear you accelerate but no use if you need to speak to them.

I collected my car last month and found that the new blue tooth system is built in to the stereo, which is very annoying when I spent almost £600 for this option to find that it is now a standard feature on the stereos that are being fitted in to the cars now.

Theres always 1 thing that doesn't work on a Ferrari -- so if its the Bluetooth then consider yourself lucky its not the F1 or CEL!
