What's the secret to separating the manifold from the cat? The back nut just spins with the bolt. I've used all the rust buster I have on it. Using 2 little wrenches is not working as can't get any leverage. I'm ready to Dremel out the bolts at this point.

I don’t think there’s any secret. I had no issue when replacing the manifolds with the AP headers. I did use a swivel ratchet extension for the correct angel to break it lose.

Dremel will work. You can replace them with Titanium bolts via Amazon (at least in the states).

    M8 washers
    M8x65 bolts
    M8 locking nuts

If they will not come out then just cut them, new oem nuts + bolts are very cheap. The springs are expensive so do not damage them. Make a note of how much of the bolt thread comes out the nut so you know how much to tighten them putting back

Thanks guys. I'm giving it one more try tonight before resorting to anything too drastic.

I hope you don't take offense at this suggestion, but just to make 100% sure, you are countering the nuts at the back (towards the front of the car) with a wrench or socket while you attempt to loosen the bolt head facing toward the rear of the car, right? If you don't then the bolt will just spin. Just wanted to make sure. You may need a thin wall socket to get it on the nut toward the front of the car. good luck!

Oh yes, I'm double wrenching it and/or socket and wrench.
