The nuts on the front side of the flange connecting the cat to the header are turning, and there doesn't seem to be enough room to get a wrench in there to hold it while i back the studs out. I've spent about 2 hours trying to figure out a way... i can't even get a pair of pliers in there to hold it.... or am I crazy?

there is not difficult to remove the cat.in F430.The screw will broken because of the rusting. You need to prepare the new nuts and screws.Use the suitable wrench because not enough room.In my experience,i remove one pair of nut & screw first, the second pair can loose little bit and then try to move the flange to other position enough room put the tools here.
