Doing some search on the forums, there are some opinions about using Pagid RS29 for the front since it's "easier" on the rotors and can perhaps improve longevity. My understanding is that is just a little compromise from the OEM street pads.

In the process of getting these pads I realized the rear pad is only available in the RSC1 compound which I believe is more agressive.

Those of you guys using RS19 fronts, what do you use in the rear?

I use RS19 front and RS29 rear on my Scuderia. The pads need more heat than original to bite but not too much. I dont think there is much difference between RS19 and RS29 in terms being "easier" on the rotors. It probably makes sense to use RS19/RS29 if you track your car on a regular basis if not I would stay on original.

What is the part number for the RS29 rear? I can only find RSC1 compound.

When I made the statement on being "easier", I was comparing OEM to RS29. Would that comparison be accurate or RS29 disc wear is very similar to stock?

    Thanks for your help

I have a hard time finding it too. Maybe that stopped making the caliper form 4906 in RS29...

I think ware depends on how you intend to use the car. On track the original pads will totally destroy the rotors in no time if/when they overheat. On the street RS19/29 makes the car a little tricky until you get heat in the brakes, with no real extra benefit. For street driving on RS29 I would expect pretty much the same ware as original though.

    Here's a couple of facts.

The 430 challenge cars run Pagid RS-19.
The Stock Scud CCM brakes are Pagid S600. I assume the same for the F430, but not sure.
Pagid now makes a compound specifically for Ferrari CCMs called the RSC1. They sell it in a fitment for the Scud (larger front disks; same size as challenge cars) and the standard F430.

Looking at Pagid's site, the RSC1 is very similar to the RS-19 and RS-29.

I use RSC1 without issue on track and street, although I think I may have cooked them last track session, so I may need to replace them.

    Good luck!
