430 Challenge Help

Am hoping someone can assist me, am looking for any homologation documentation on the Challenge, more specifically any documentation where its stated that the car is not inteded for use on the road.

Reason I ask is that I am drawing up a business plan for a racing company, where the primary race car is a 430 Challenge and I need to prove to the local revenue authority that the car is not a road going vehicle so the Value Added Tax can be claimed back.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

 

For my 360 Challenge..which I bought new from Ferrari..it was part of the sales invoice from them to me.

Both the 360 & 430 do not carry titles (sorry dont know the SA version) but are transfered by bill of sale only.

The best bet I would think is to trace the individual car's history back to the factory via Bills of Sale. As there will be something stated by Ferrari that it is not intended for road use for that particular car.

 

Thanks, thought this might be the case, this car was also bought new, our cars over here also dont have titles and cant actually be registered but beleive it or not our version of the IRS thought the car looked like a road going car....and thought it had been built up by the dealer.....

 

I have a 355Ch and they also came as bill of sale cars mine has 3 for each time it was sold and along with each B of S there are race car disclaimer documents signed by the dealer and each owner of the car, again I have 3. I also have my original MSO from Ferrari that discloses that the car is a Challenge car. If it would help I could scan my race car disclaimer forms and email them to you. Regards, Vern
