F430 Challenge is a race car. The Scuderia is a road car, it's the lighweight version of the regular F430 with less weight (-200 pounds) , faster F1 gearbox, more hp (515 hp vs 483 hp ) but it is still a road legal car. The Challenge is even lighter, has less HP than the Scud but tuned suspensions for the track, and a completely stripped out interior (No Radio or airbags..).
Very true. 430C owners are kind of expected to know how to drive a high performance car, but it's not always the case. Other differences also include Lexan instead of glass, center lock instead of 5 stud wheels, roll cage, quick ratio steering rack, slick tires, race compound brake pads, quick disconnect fuel filler receptacles, Magneti Marelli data logger, solid A arm bushings, stiffer springs anti-roll bar and dampers, carbon race seat, 6 point safety harness, electrically activated fire extinguisher system, etc.. In original factory specs, A 430 Challenge will run circles around a Scuderia depite having less hp.
