My 14 month old 430 with 1900 miles on the clock went into the dealer to sort out a few problems, one of which was an annoying squeak coming from the area where the roof and the bulkhead meet. Upon inspecting the dealer has discovered some faulty welds which are going to need repairing. My thoughts are to carry this out is going to mean removing quite a bit of interior trim ( all Crema Leather including the roof lining ) which to honest I'm not happy about.
Has anyone else expirienced any problem like this?

    thanks

Annoying squeaks are certainly not uncommon to any car including Ferrari. However, I haven't heard of any faulty weld issues pertaining to the F430's body and would contact Ferrari UK to discuss the dealers findings prior to having the work performed. Additionally you may request to meet with a service representative from Ferrari UK at the dealer to discuss repair.

I bet this squeak is coming from the roof headliner panel having come loose from the roof. If it's not and the car has faulty welding IMO it's a very serious issue.
