I have a 430 non working dash light. I took the cluster apart, unplugged the EL strip and attached it to another A5 inverter power supply to see if it was the EL strip or the power supply. The EL strip only lights if I repeatedly tap the power connection to the inverter the EL panel and it will flash brightly. It appears the inverter is incompatible with the EL strip. Has anyone had any luck using a separate EL power supply? I have seen on the net they use them to repair a Chrysler EL light. Ferraris must be different.
